AMOpportunities Named to TIME’s list of the World’s Top EdTech Companies 2024 List

Chicago, IL

April 23, 2024

TIME, a global media brand, and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider, have placed AMOpportunities on the list of the World’s Top EdTech Companies of 2024. The awards list, comprised of 250 edtech organizations, was announced on April 23, 2024, and can be viewed on Time.com. AMOpportunities landed at number 49. Other organizations on the list include MasterClass, Udemy, and 360Learning.

AMOpportunities, founded in 2013, works with hospitals, institutions, and global medical and DO, PA, and nursing schools to provide real-world medical training to students through in-person and virtual hands-on experiences and observerships.

The World’s Top EdTech Companies 2024 list recognizes companies that primarily focus on developing and providing educational technologies, products, or services. In support of the research, data was gathered from company applications, annual reports, media monitoring, and other public sources. Additionally, Statista worked with specialized data partners, HolonIQ and LexisNexis PatentSight to further strengthen the data quality.

The ranking is built on the research and analysis of over 7,000 companies across two dimensions:

1. Financial Strength: Revenue, funding data, and company disclosures were analyzed.

2. Industry impact: Analyzed quality and impact of product or service portfolio, and the quality and value of the company’s intellectual property.

Companies received scores in each of these dimensions, which were then combined into an overall score. 250 companies with the highest scores that have demonstrated an extraordinary impact on the industry and strong financial performance were awarded.

AMOpportunities is honored to be recognized among the top 50 companies on TIME’s list of the World’s Top EdTech Companies 2024.

“As a company, we are both humbled and invigorated after being named in the top 50 companies on TIME’s inaugural World’s Top EdTech Company’s list,” said Kyle Swinsky, CEO of AMOpportunties. “As a company in a niche industry, this ranking is a reflection of our people’s dedication and commitment to creating global opportunities in medical education and making healthier communities.”
