AMO is a super organised organisation. From the beginning when I contacted them to the end, everything was easy and smooth. They replied to email as soon as they could and answered my questions to the fullest. I will highly recommend AMO to any IMG in the world.
I had a very pleasant stay in Los Angeles, balancing my time for work and traveling. LA is such a beautiful place to live in with endless possibilities to explore. It was a real privilege to see how doctors practice medicine in one of the top 10 hospitals in the country.
It is a program that really helps you to have a closer aproach go medicine in the US
It was a very pleasant experience. The AMO provided really good sites for clinical rotations. Everyone was very friendly and caring. The doctors made sure I am aware of everything and used to explain to be before and after seeing patients or during the surgery.
This program was amazing. I got to learn a lot of different things and observe complex surgeries, as well as the doctors clinical practice. All the doctors (especially Dr. B, Dr. N, Dr. A, Dr. C) were fantastic, always making sure I could see real close on a surgery and understand what they were doing, as all as making sure I was understanding why they were doing a certain procedure and, during clinics hours, they would go through with me the patients symptoms, the relation to the disease and what could be done to help them. They were all very nice, polite and caring. All the other people who worked at the office were also nice and very welcoming. I would definitely do this program again and I thank them (doctors + office team) a lot for this amazing learning experience.
